About Montana Fly Fishing


Montana Fly Fishing Guides is based in Livingston, Montana, which is located just north of Yellowstone National Park near many famous Montana fly fishing rivers in Paradise Valley. This area is considered to be a Mecca of fly fishing by anglers the world over. Nearly a dozen world class trout fisheries are within a few miles drive.

Our home water is the Yellowstone River which is the longest freestone river in the country. This undammed river boasts the longest stretch of "blue ribbon trout stream" in the nation. With superb hatches of caddis, mayflies, stoneflies and terrestrials it’s a must on your fishing check list.

The nearby spring creeks of Armstrong spring creek, DePuy spring creek, Milesnick spring creek, and Nelsons spring creek offer spectacular views and world class walk and wade flyfishing. Anglers from around the world travel to test wits with these selective trout.
