A Note from the New Owner

Dear friends,
We hope the Summer of 2009 was a pleasant one, but looking forward to next year we are pleased to announce that The Yellowstone Valley Ranch will be reopening as Yellowstone Valley Lodge in May of 2010 to serve all of your fishing, dining and lodging needs in Paradise Valley, Montana. Along with some changes and improvements in scale and scope of activities, Yellowstone Valley Lodge is excited to bring back a lot of the same services you have grown to count on.
Eric Adams, of Montana Fly Fishing Guides, will be returning to provide his nearly famous guide service on the Yellowstone River, Spring Creeks, and other notable rivers in the area. Eric’s outfitting service and experienced team of guides will be an integral part of any family, group or individual visit to the valley, and custom packages will be available soon.
Additionally, Josh Pastrama and the Paradise Grill will be returning for your dining needs at the lodge and on the river. In addition to a newly designed and renovated kitchen and dining space, Josh will continue to offer the same five-star fare whether you’re staying in the lodge or just passing through and in need of a gourmet meal before striking out into the wild. Breakfast will be provided for guests of the lodge, and lunch and dinner will be served daily as well. Also, event space will be available in the lodge’s unique and magnificent setting, with onsite catering and beverage service provided by Josh and the Paradise Valley Grill.
Notable additions to the lodge will include new and upgraded furnishings in the cabins; added availability for additional activities such as hiking, rafting, horseback riding and trips to the day-spa; and coordinated transportation services to and from the airport in Bozeman.
Please check in soon for available packages and online booking, and thank you for considering Yellowstone Valley Lodge during your travels through Montana.

Sincerely,
Ryan O’Reilly

Traveling to Yellowstone Valley Lodge

Most of our guests arrive via airline to Bozeman's Gallatin Field Airport (BZN), there is however a Livingston Airfield (Mission Field) for smaller private planes if you choose to charter a flight.  Many of our guests rent vehicles at the airport, but if you choose not to we can arrange pickup from the airport to the ranch.

Directions from Bozeman:  Take I-90 East about 23 miles to the second exit for Livingston, exit  # 333.  Take US HWY 89 South (towards Yellowstone National Park.  Go 14 miles to mile marker 38 and you'll see a small billboard for YVR.   Proceed a few hundred yards to our gate on the left.  If you are coming in at night we have bright lights on a YVR sign at our gate.  If  you pass a turn for Mill Creek Rd. (just under a mile away), or you come to a flashing light over the road in the town of Emigrant (five miles away), then turn around, you've gone too far.  To view a MapQuest map of our location follow this link.

Directions from the North Entrance of Yellowstone National Park:  Take US HWY 89 North from Gardiner (Home of the North entrance) towards Livingston. Go 38 miles and look for the Yellowstone Valley Lodge sign and gate on your right.  If you are coming in at night we have bright lights on a Yellowstone Valley Lodge sign at our gate.  You'll know you are close to the Lodge after you pass Mill Creek Rd.   Mill Creek Rd. is well-marked with signage and on the right just under a mile before Yellowstone Valley Lodge.  If you come to a small brown sign for the Mallard's Rest Boat Ramp and Campground (the sign has a fish on it as well), then turn around, you've gone too far by a couple miles.
