Without a doubt, DePuy Spring Creek is one of the greatest natural fly fishing classrooms found anywhere, offering a quiet, natural setting abounding with plenty of wildlife to help make the day complete.

The Creek with it’s 3 miles of water is world famous for it’s consistent hatches of PMD’s, BWO’s, Sulpher's and Midges. Our guides are excellent instructors so even skilled anglers will learn new techniques, whether it's sight nymphing or down stream reach casts, to improve their angling abilities.

Nelsons Spring Creek


Offers everything from sight fishing for cruising trout to bouncing nymphs through riffles

Nelson Spring Creek Ranch is the most picture perfect spring creek one will ever see. The spectacular peaks of the Absaroka’s seem close enough to reach out and touch. This is Montana Fly Fishing at it’s best. Nelson Spring Creek is located in beautiful Paradise Valley, Montana, and is approximately 3/4 miles in length and is open all year. The creek offers everything from sight fishing for cruising trout to bouncing nymphs through riffles. Hatches of mayflies and midges can be outstanding. Pale morning duns, sulphur’s, and blue winged olives are most fisher’s prime focus, but terrestrials can be deadly in the warmer months of late May through September.
