Our 2023 snowpack is looking GREAT for the coming season, it just started feeling like spring this last week. Unlike last year when snow levels were low at this point, we are optimistic that Montana and Yellowstone Park are going to have a very good water year in our area rivers.
Last year we had pretty low snow pack numbers and then a freakish rain storm flooded the Yellowstone area. Hopefully, that 500 year event is well behind us and we’re looking like a “normal” water year so far.
