Well we wrapped up the Fall fishing season here at Montana Fly Fishing Guides on the Yellowstone River this past Saturday. It was probably one of the nicest days of the month with light winds, partly cloudy and temps in the 60s.
We concentrated on the foam holes in lower Paradise Valley using a shallow indicator rig with small baetis and midges size 16-20. Fishing was not easy, but we managed to land a handful of trout including one great 16-inch rainbow which gave us a spectacular fight.
